Long ago, the world of Azar was powered by the power of the Crystals—ancient triangular stones in which numbers carried not just value but meaning. Together, these magical shapes formed the Crystal Network, an underlying structure that balanced energy, nature, and consciousness. Each number in the network represented a House: Order, Harmony, Bridge, and Power. For centuries, the inhabitants of Azar lived in relative peace, guided by the four Magi, the Catalysts of their House.
But with the seventh eclipse year came a catastrophe: the Split. An unknown force severed the network, the crystals shattered and fell from their heavenly structure to the world below. Wherever they landed, they began to leak their power uncontrollably—leading to ruptures in time, distorted landscapes, and madness among the people. No House could solve it alone. Balance had to be found—not through domination, but through cooperation.
The four Catalysts, each connected to a primal force, have been summoned. Each carries the last Essential Stone of their House. Only by harnessing their unique power and completing their form can they recreate the network. But time is short. The world trembles. The stones sing. The Crystals of Azar demand a new order—and you are their last hope.

Sinna Vahn
Sirra was the youngest general in the history of the Flaming Legions. He led his troops atop crystal-forged warhorses, wielding sharpened fives that shot energy like lightning. His power lay not only in battle, but in control—he could reshape entire frontlines with a single stone, as if they were pieces on a board. He did not believe in balance, but in direction.
When the Fracture came, he was the only one who didn’t panic. Instead, he channeled the unleashed crystals and used their power to save thousands. They now call him the Flame of the Network, and his sword – its core made of five pure fives – still glowed for weeks after his final strike.
Sirra’s path is one of intent. His form, the Pentaline, is no mere symbol—it – is a blade that slices through the old structure to make room for the new. He seeks to restore balance, yes – but on his own terms. For without direction, balance is merely stagnation.

Ilon of the Fringe
Ilon was born at the outermost edge of Azar, in a place untouched by the Crystal Network. In the silence of the Empty Plains, he learned to meditate, to listen to what wasn’t said, and to feel what others ignored: the Zero Point. At the age of twelve, he found a crystal shard marked with three zeros – and heard the voice of the void itself. Since that day, people have ceased to call him by name. He is now known only as the Warden of Emptiness.
His power emerged from absence. While others learned to channel energy, Ilon mastered the art of drawing strength from nothingness. He could cleanse regions of corruption without moving a single stone. His calm presence brought peace to conflict. In time, he became the silent leader of House Order – without ever giving a command. His followers listened not out of fear, but out of trust.
Ilon’s path to balance is a paradox: only by creating emptiness can structure be reborn. His shape, the Zero Pyramid, must manifest to restore the original stillpoint of the network. Only he can reintroduce the resonance of nothing into a world overflowing with chaos.

Varek of Ferros
Varek grew up in the iron cities of Ferros, where most people thought only in straight lines. But he saw meaning in connection. As a child, he built bridges from crystals—not to cross, but to link. At sixteen, he accidentally discovered a way to anchor two weak crystals using a third, and in doing so, reactivated a long-lost energy field beneath the city. That bridge still hums with power today.
As both engineer and mage, Varek developed techniques to channel crystal energy across great distances: his constructs kept entire cities standing during the first aftershocks of the Fracture. The Council of Ferros named him First Builder and granted him access to the Legendary Tri-Point Crystal, the rarest artifact of his age.
Varek’s role is clear: while others seek inner balance or silence, he is the glue. His Skybridge must span the faultlines now dividing the world. Without him, every other attempt at restoration will crumble under its own weight.

Maela Trium
Maela grew up in the heart of Azar, in the Singing Valley where four rivers converge. There, children danced with crystals on their foreheads, and melodies echoed daily from stone and stream. Maela discovered early on that her voice could shape vibrations – and, through them, influence the drift of free-floating crystals. She became an apprentice to the Quadral Council, a group of seers who saw symmetry as the highest form of truth.
At the age of twenty, Maela became the first in 444 years to create the Crystal Circle: a structure of six stones arranged around a perfect core. The network sang back. Her ceremony was remembered for weeks in song. She was chosen as Keeper of Harmony and entrusted with the Crown of Fourfold Unity – a relic containing a core of pure 4-4-4 stone.
Maela’s path is one of restoration, but also of compromise. She believes that the chaos of the Fracture should not be destroyed, but integrated. By completing her shape, she seeks to restore symmetry at the network’s center – and through it, retune all other forces.
